Let's not tread on eggshells here, this is a big issue among Liverpool fans at the moment so where do you all stand on him? Personally my confidence in him is virtually gone. Same mistakes repeated over and over again. How much time and money is enough before it's fair to say things aren't going to improve?

There's a chance to have a reasonable discussion here about a relevant topic, let's not take it down the usual route of point scoring and trolling please.

    Brendan Rodgers

I have supported Rodgers throughout his time here but I really feel he needs to go now. It is completely ridiculous that after spending three full seasons and spending close to 300 million, the team still has absolutely no identity, and is arguably no better than what he started off with. He seems to have the charisma of my lunch table, and this season, it's only getting worse. The less said about our defending the better. No way should anyone have to accept our complete lack of creativity throughout the team outside of Coutinho, who himself blows hot and cold. And then the transfers... I don't give a **** if some of the signings were committee signings but buying players like Borini, Sakho, Ilori, Assaidi, Aspas, Luis Alberto, Moreno, Lambert, Markovic, Origi, Manquilo and I am sure I am missing many others, and not even giving them a fair shot with the first team, then selling them/loaning them out is just plain stupid. I know many of these players turned out to be shite for other teams as well but nearly everyone came with a decent reputation and just got lost in our squad.

FSG have invested quite a bit of money without a lot of rewards, but surely, they will be expecting more now?

Been one of his staunchest supporters and still think there is a good manager in there. But he seems to have badly lost his way.

He's on his last legs if you ask me, being easily beaten by a woeful Man United maybe the final straw,

He has no philosophy & no plan anymore.

When he first arrived he was all about keeping the ball & death by football etc. & tbf we kept the ball really well. But now we can't string two passes together. Why not sign a midfielder who can pass & dictate play?

Then in his second season he seemed to be all about fast direct & fluid play, this season he buys Benteke & makes us very narrow & stagnant.

atm the squad has no balance, too many of the same type of player. Choc a block with box to box CMs & no width.

I really have no idea what the fella is trying to achieve & that's the biggest worry.

Time for him to go in my opinion, we still have the same issues we had 3 years ago with no real attempt to rectify said issues.

Time for change, would love Klopp here.

I wanted to believe in him. I wanted to so bad. But these last two game weeks are very troubling. I can understand losing to a squad like ManU at Trafford but the fact we lost to West Ham 3-0 shows we're not even good enough to at least beat the teams we should beat. That's the biggest thing for me. At least become good enough to beat the teams we should be beating.

Also it doesn't help that he already laid the seeds for his excuse in the build up. By saying:

"This game comes on the back of the international break, so we're had virtually no time to work with the players. Some only arrived back yesterday."

    He was already defeated here.

I wanted him to succeed as our manager so badly but I think enough is enough now. We have no direction and no plan.

We have some good players but they seem clueless more often than not as to what Brendan wants. He is supposedly a superb man manager but that doesn't seem to show in games. The players don't seem up for anything the majority of the time, always look to have no confidence and without Couthino we have absolutely no spark.

If Klopp is available and would come....I'll be honest, I'd take him in a heartbeat at the moment.

This is one of my major gripes with him. He's into his 4th season now and this is his third major change to our style of play. There's been no consistency. The best part of £300m spent and he's failed to impose an identity or style of play on us. I'm at the point now where I go into eveyr match thinking there's a big possibly we'll lose this. I've got no faith in us scoring unless there's a bit of individual magic.

He should have went last season, in my opinion.

As an outsider I find it quite staggering he's still got the gig, especially when Klöpp and Ancellotti are sat at home watching TV. Surely the wacky German is a shoo-in for the job? There's a decent squad of players there being used terribly, great character though.

He does seem to be making it up as he goes along to be honest.

Put me in the Get Rid camp, if a manager cannot chose his players, then theirs a problem right there. And the players he has signed really aren't showing anything at all. He just is not Liverpool standard I'm sorry to say.

Even Skrtel today was a disaster, and he's been the stalwart of our defence for many a time. Starting with Rodgers, then Lovren etc, move'em out asap

If Klopp or Ancellotti were interested in taking over then I'd get either of those in.

I would give him the rest of the season otherwise.

I was optimistic that Liverpool had built a squad good enough to challenge for the top four, and it's a very talented squad. Unfortunately Rodgers seems to be unable to reach the next level with Liverpool, without Suarez to tear English defences apart. I think he should be given perhaps another couple month, and then be removed from his position if there's no improvement. He looked excellent in 13/14 but it's clearly becoming obvious that it was Suarez making Rodgers look competent.

All the same problems that exist now existed when we nearly won the title, the difference then was we had one of the best attacks this league has seen to sweep aside the teams below us. Given how poor we've looked in attack since Suarez's departure it's hard not to conclude that it was mainly down to him and not Rodgers.

Nowt to do with me and I'm not poking you lot but the last 3 games United have been easily the better of the two teams, and that was hardly ever the case even when Ferguson was United manager. These games have always seemed to even themselves out, in the 10 games before United's present 3 game streak there were 4 liverpool wins, 5 United wins and a draw, neither team ever really dominated.

I'll leave it up to the board to decide whether his time is up as Liverpool manager, but he does appear to have lost his way. A shame really, because as a relatively young Liverpool fan, that 13/14 season is as good as i've seen & i'll always appreciate him for that.

By the way, what's everyone's opinion on Milner? I really expected better from him; I was genuinely excited about him and Firmino and both have been quite disappointing. Firmino obviously needs a bit more time but Milner is our vice captain ffs, and has played nearly every single game ever since we signed him (pre-season included)

Milner is good but in many ways he typifies what's wrong with Brendan Rodgers at the moment. He's a patch job at best in CM.

I'll away respect Rodgers, he's likeable and a good manager but I don't think he's capable of taking us to the next level. In fact, at the moment I think we're more likely to go backwards.
