Surviving in the Premiership must be the key objective.
Not sure if we need much player in comings for that. A new manager would probably secure it!

    My guesses:
Higuain on loan (token "superstar" signing)
Martial (already heavily linked, so probably a decent bet)
    Van de Beek (loan)
    Tapsoba

    Summer Window:
    Mané
    Rice
    McGinn

I expect a Summer spend similar to January, as our owners will want continued progress.
A striker and attacking midfielder would be enough to ensure that, especially if we also buy Matt Targett.
Ekitike and Lucas Paqueta would fit. Doubt either will come off as prices will go off the scale if the rags are right.

FFP will affect us if the club goes seriously wild, so a free transfer or two is bound to happen. So Tarkowski or Eriksen may be approached. Dan Ashworth might help get some deadwood off the books first.

We basically gave our deadwood away when he was here, I don’t think he really helped in that regard at all.

Don't know a great deal about him. Seems to have a good name in the game though.
Worked with the England kids setup at a time they achieved. Helped Brighton loads, and they look like a well run club as far as I can tell.
But shifting older players off the books is needed, even if some are given away, is an essential requirement if we're going to sign anyone new.

Hayden now out on loan, Gayle reportedly following to Middlesbrough or Sheff Utd. That's one squad number imminently available. 1st signing sorted with Targett - brilliant!

Paper talk prominently featuring Botman, Paqueta and Ekitike. Botman appears to favour AC Milan, Ekitike is a hard one to call what he wants, and Lucas Paqueta I think would to happy to hop aboard.

Let's see if we can, or even want at this moment compete with the big lads. I'd be happy to have other relative unknowns - such as another Bruno - join the club.
