Decided not to go tonight as it’ll be a late finish and it’s a school night. I’m now wishing I’d bothered and to hell with the school night, because at 3/4 time the Doggies are ahead 108-37, Cody Weightman, fast becoming my favourite player scored another absolute belter..

Masterclass from the off. Would have been interesting had we lost because Bevvo would have been under immense pressure but he lives to fight another bounce.

Highlights: St Kilda v Western Bulldogs

Good result for my Blues thanks to a 3rd quarter-goal feast beating the top dogs, Geelong next who are sitting on top of the pile.

    CARLTON 5.1 7.7 14.10 17.15 (117)
    GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY 4.1 9.4 12.7 15.8 (98)

Wow what a mark by Jamie Elliott for Coll v Ess jumping onto the shoulders of his opponent.

The Aussies sure love that move.

    Brilliant.

Won’t see better than that this year. The Cats have started well against Carlton. Underachieved last year after winning the flag, I fancy them to do it again this year (that’s win the flag, not underachieve loike)

Doesn’t look like it’ll be a close one for Carlton this week..

Made a bit of a comeback near the end.

Do find teams seem to score a lot late on.

Not to be for my Blues but at least we were not steamrolled by the Cats, long way to go yet but as long as we reach the finals I will be a happy chappie.

The same was said when GWS were on top, we played the Crows and lost, and in the next game against GWS, we beat them, as I said, a long way to go yet...[IMG]

Freo beat the Dogs. After the disastrous West Coast derby result last week I didn’t expect this.

The Hawks getting hammered again, the wife supports Hawthorn and she calls them the Bumble Bees, that's to do with the old shirt they used to wear.

Luke Bevvo has got to go. This young Footscray team should be doing so much better than this. We've got the Hawks next week, we should win that one but it has to be impressive for him to stay in a job..

    Red's gone quiet..

The Bulldogs' home game against Hawthorn on Sunday is going to promote Kidzmania, so there'll be loads of youngsters at the ground seeing as it's only $5 to get in and $15 for adults, should make for a good atmosphere and a decent crowd. Of course I'm going, for $15 it'd be rude not to..

Dockers had a good 54 point win over Richmond at The G.

I went to the Doggies v Hawthorn game today but left at half time as my heart just wasn’t in it after last nights debacle.
