I'm very-anti loan move being honest. I don't see much good from the loan market these days and in many cases it just feels like a slow drip to send a player off somewhere else. I think if a player is good enough, then you know it and they force their way into your plans.

Not to say loan moves don't do any good. Just that Liverpool haven't utilised it well enough imo.

Klopp can be pretty ruthless on players coming into the squad I find. It is good, since it means you really have to earn your way in. Only a few players have been signed and given the green light to be start consistently from the get go. (Alisson, van Dijk, Mane, Salah... possibly one or two others)

He's already told the youth players via the press not to just expect a run out with the season coming to a close, for example. Minamino is really having to earn his minutes. And Williams got hooked at half time last night. Fabinho and Robertson barely featured their first half seasons.

  2. just my opinion but if anyone take origi he would end up exactly where we have him. On the bench.

Wolfburg did this. I just cant see the consistency.

Here's his goal today, not the best quality but you can see the strike.

That sums his strengths up for me, first time, no time to think about it just pure instinct, more or less in between the width of the posts. If he gets half a chance, your not surprised if it ends up as a goal which at the level we're playing at is very rare. He's going to make a good career out of that instinct, it's just a question of how high a level he's able to get to, and how quickly he's going to get there.

Aye its a screamer. He's really enjoying himself with The Swans. Lets root for them in the playoff's to see if he can help them get over the line and promoted!

So Brewster scored again last night, and his loan now ends with Swansea I believe since they didn't make it to the playoff final. Can see him featuring heavily in preseason starting in a few weeks, and I think Klopp will take a good look at how far he thinks he has progressed before deciding if he'll be loaned out again. Really looking forward to seeing what he can do in a red shirt once again.

He needs a few games in a full strength line up, see how he fairs with Salah, Bobby and/or Mane.

Agreed. Any time we've seen him with Liverpool, he's paired with the likes of Harry Wilson and Harvey Elliott.

Liverpool defender Adam Lewis has agreed a deal to sign for Ligue 2 club Amiens, according to reports from France.

The 20-year-old full-back apparently passed a medical with Amiens on Monday and as such, he’s expected to formally be announced as the club’s latest signing at some point today.
Amiens will have the option to sign the left-back on a permanent basis next summer if he impresses during his loan spell in France.

Interesting, no mention of the permanent option in British press from what I can see. Good loan for him though!

  13. he badly needs it to start progressing his career. Irrespective of Liverpool, the lad himself needs to prove he can stay fit and be a good option for teams in order to deliver on his early potential.

Like jordan rossiter (who's just joined fleetwood town from rangers) injury has curtailed Lewis in terms of development.

Ben woodburn is another. He's basically broken bones and had all sorts of injuries and has effectively stalled.

Unlike some (not on here mind) I don't see these lads as assets to the club but young lads who have worked hard over years looking for a chance at the dream. The clubs job IMO is to give them all an experience and development whether they fall out at 12, 14, 16, or 20 or become TAA.

Lewis is quite a good little player, not sure he's ever prem standard but certainly a good player.

He's in a great place atm for his development, i'd love to see him back too but he would be a bench warmer and would never get the game time he's getting atm Downside is his value is increasing rapidly and i dont think his Fulham fee is settled yet? :)

Nah, you don't want him back in Jan, I'd leave him be for the season ;)

Very mature player for his age, great vision and passing. Has fit in really well. Got a fantastic career ahead I'd say.

Let Elliott stay where he is.

Rather he rejoined he club next season after a 10-15 goal season in the Championship.

  19. Awoniyi has now scored 4 and assisted 1 in last 6 games including 1 v Dortmund.

Not bad for a guy who has not done much in the past couple of years

Should maybe get £5+ mill for him if he keeps this up.
