hard to put this man into words in a statement. he was the most genuine, honest, humble and helpfull man in the world of football. very sad for him to have to leave this world seeing us get relegated but he will always remain in SJP and all of england in spirit. may the great Sir Bobby Robson rest in peace because we all know he deserves it after what he has put into this sport. he will be truely missed
They say the premiership is graced with the greatest managers but that isnt true....heaven is graced with the greatest managers and Sir Bobby Robson can now be added to that list. The footballing world will not see a gentleman like him ever again. He is an idol of mine that will never be forgotten. Goodnight and godbless Sir Bobby.
My thoughts exactly mate, I wasn't alive when he was manager, but I have met him several times and he was a true gent. I just had to go to the ground earlier, and tonights game is going to be special.
Is there or has there ever been another person in football loved as much as SBR ? i've never heard one bad word about him other than that of the **** that is Barry Silkman.
Don't get me started on that prick Rott in hell Silkman!!! Sir Bobby will be looking down on you laughing!
Just found out on here. That's awful news. He'd been on the way out for a while, but now it's happened, it truly is sad. RIP Sir Bobby.
A truly nice bloke and great manager both at home and abroad. There was always something about his interviews that made me smile. Legend is a word made for a man like Sir Bobby Robson. Rest In Peace
Legend is a much overused word, but not in this case!...A truly sad day for football. We have lost a true gentleman, great manager & decent player as well in his day! Has anybody who matters ever had a bad word to say about the man? Rest in peace.
Perhaps the only football man to have been considered a true national treasure. An absolute legend. RIP Sir
R.I.P. Sir Bobby. One of the really good guys - a gentleman, and one of the finest sporting ambassadors this country has ever produced.
Never heard a bad word about anyone said by him and never heard a bad word said by anyone about him. R.I.P Robert.
R.I.P. Sir Bobby.....Struggle to think of a man in football that I have more respect for...what a true legend he will always be
