No. My mum actually refused to leave the house this morning after us two had crashes with it being Friday 13th :p

Ew, they're big and heavy, what is your price range?

And what sort of car do you want?

They're alright arent they. I know a few people who own/have owned them and i haven't heard much negative. I like the style of the exterior and interior and they are reliable.

Willing to pay up to about 9 or 10k.

But do you want something sporty?

    Economic? (gay)

    Low mileage?

Low mileage preferably yes. The most important thing is that i like the style and it drives well, I have drove cars recently that feel shit and cheap when you drive them. Audi, VW, Honda etc just feel more well built and solid.
Reliability for me really aswell as i don't want to be forking out for repairs all the time. Also have to take into account parts if anything ****s up i know with some cars ie Alpha Romeo - some replacement parts when things go wrong can cost an arm and a leg.

Parts and servicing on a Honda are expensive.

What sort of engine are you looking at? My Dad's just started working with Honda - he quite likes the Civic, but the one he had was a 2.2 Diesel, so probably fairly expensive. I'll ask his opinion on other ones.

I'm sick of the sight of civics. There's one on almost every other drive up my street.

Well that is probably because they are manufactured in your house.

Selling my BMW 525, Need something a little less 'chavvy' as I've now hit 30. :(

Any suggestions? Not too bothered if it's new, although I've only got £7,000 (Plus whatever I get from the BMW, Selling for £1,000) so I'm pretty sure whatever I get will be second/third hand.

Want something that's going to last, My BMW I've had from 23, And I think the only massive expense was a new engine. (Didn't break, Just wanted something a bit more nippier)

I would however like something practical, I have a wife and 2 kids to ferry around the place, it has to have good fuel consumption, the BMW is a tank, drinking it's way through a full tank in about 30 miles.

    Suggestions please...:duke

BMW 3 series? You'd get a 5 year old one for £9 - £10k or so. I've been looking at them myself, equipment levels are much better these days and some of them are fairly nippy.

    I'm sure I don't know what you gentlemen mean . . .

I've looked at all sorts of stuff over the last 3 months. The day when I post a picture of my new[ish] Astra draws ever closer . . .

I like Vauxhall's too tbh, I've had 2 Corsa's and when eventually the time comes to move on from the current Corsa, it will probably be an Astra or an Insignia (or whatever the fk they are calling it at the time) that I upgrade to.

I've always been a fan of Vauxhall's. Cept the ghastly yellow old school Y plate Cavalier my old man had when I was a littl'un.

    I'd love a Monaro.

Why would anybody want a Vauxhall?

    So vile and cheap.

Would you not like a Golf, Stret?

The new Sirocco's are nice aswell.

The new Sirrocos are okay, but the 2 door Megane is 100% prettier. As for the Golf, it's the most boring car ever assembled and performance isn't all that either.
