Endeavour Series 1 - 9. As Inspector Morse is one of my favourite British crime shows i was a bit wary of watching this but i really enjoyed it,Shaun Evans was brilliant as a young Morse and Roger Allam was great as Detective Chief Inspector Thursday, next up i'll be rewatching the 7 seven series of Inspector Morse followed by Lewis which i haven't seen before. 8.8/10.
COMA ( Channel 5 ) 8.5/10 Not normally a fan of these 4 x 1 hour shown in a week jobbies but this was excellent . Storyline sees some gobby youth , son of the local gangster terrorising a family , family hit back , father suspects , ol' Bill suspect , ol' man next door knows , lots of twists & turns , decent acting , a couple of minor oversights as in local gangsters would wear gloves when doing house break ins & wouldn't kidnap people in their own cars with personal number plates , then again , I am fussy but , a damn good watch .
Rising Damp Series 1. Not as good as i remember it but Leonard Rossiter was brilliant as the landlord Rigsby. 7/10.
I didn't even find it watchable, in theory it should be right up my street, but the first episode was so very, very boring I binned it.
After all these years i've finally watched SOA right the way through. Thought it went for one season too long, and the last season dragged a bit but enjoyed it overall.
Everything goes downhill in Northern Ireland (sorry, Pork, for the bad joke ) Yeah. I liked SoA very much. My favourite figure in it was Chuckie Marstein, the compulsive Masturbator Agreed, too. First I watched 3 Body Problem only because of Eiza Gonzalez but then got interested in the story, too. Actually watched the first episode of "John Sugar" starring good old Colin Farrell as private detective John Sugar. Has a "noir" feeling and so far not bad.
I had a double take when Auggie came on screen (actually more than one). I thought Keira Knightley had gone through a time warp.
Giri/Haji Entertaining Japanese/British crime mini series. They handle multiple storylines unfolding in two different countries quite well, with likeable characters that you root for. One of the better things I have seen on the telly. Cheers for the recommendation @Jonny Ninja Spoiler The dance sequence in the final episode was just bizarre. We already know what they were trying to convey with it. On a side note, Episode 4 was peak television.
ah I’m glad you enjoyed it dude. It’s one of my absolute favourite shows of recent times. It’s the characters and the relationships that they form that I really love about the show And yeah the contemporary dance on the roof was a little out of place and felt a bit pretentious
Josh Must Win Bizarre, funny and with all the morph's more than a little weird but on the sliding scale of popularity shows better then most 7.5 / 10
