American Hustle 7.9/10 I personally really enjoyed it. Felt they dragged it on maybe a little and could've done more with De Niro's character but overall it was pretty good.
The Den - [6/10] - Starts well, some original and creative ideas and genuinely freaky parts but like most horrors goes off the boil and it's like they didn't really know where to go with it. Shame really.
Cheap Thrills (2013) Nice little film this. Two guys are in a bar. They meet a married couple there. The couple set a task - the first of the two men to finish their drink gets $50. And so the game goes on - all the way to $250k to...... well you've got to watch the movie. A few laughs, some gore, and a WTF moment or two. Silly fun. A Touch of Sin (2013) A whole other type of movie this. Serious drama in this one. It's a Chinese film (so subs if that bothers you). Essentially you get four vignettes about life for the working class in a China that growing more industrialized. For every person making out like a bandit, there are whole towns going without. As I say, this is a serious drama, so you can't say you had a good time watching it. Nothing will end well. On the other hand it's good to see a cross section of China, and some of the location shooting is pretty good.
Cabin Fever: Patient Zero wtf was I thinking? Somebody get's beaten to death with a giant black dildo, that's all you need to know. 2/10.
UWantMe2KillHim? - 6.6/10 - I didn't hold high hopes for this, thought it would be one of those god damn awful B rated movies they have on NetFlix but its wasn't too bad actually. Based on a true story. No masterpiece, but very watchable.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 8/10 Better than the first, with a few surprises along the way. For a film that's over 2 hours long, it never seemed to drag, towards the end I started to feel a little bit like "I wish this would end" but that was more down to me really needing a piss at that point Oh and if you go to the cinema to see this there are 2 'secret' scenes, one during the credits and one at the end of them.
The Day of the Jackal (1973) Details (quite thoroughly!) the build up to an assassination attempt on Charles de Gaulle which was arranged by the French dissident group OAS. Possibly tailed off towards the end and was over long, but still a good watch. 7/10
Watched the remake of The Fog last night. Not bad but not a patch on the original. Wish that film makers would not spoil the memory of a great film by giving us a new edition.
A zombie film with Micheal Madsen in it? Gotta be awesome right? No.
